About the Role

Aon is seeking a Broker - Construction to join its Construction Services Practice Group within Aon Risk Solutions. This is a full-time national position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, addressing the needs of clients across the country. The successful candidate will report directly to the Country Head of Specialty – KSA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve clients across KSA and potentially regional projects by collaborating with Account Executives to develop coverage strategies and marketing initiatives for renewal and prospective business in the Construction segment.
  • Analyze client-specific risk exposure and detailed coverage requirements; prepare and present marketing proposals for renewals and new business.
  • Negotiate with underwriters to establish optimal terms and conditions regarding premiums and coverage.
  • Develop thought leadership and expertise through networking, technical training, and market/industry/client discussions.
  • Present current trends and issues to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with the underwriting community, focusing on Construction specialty markets.
  • Work with insurers to finalize and confirm that the terms of agreed-upon contracts are met.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Aon's global network for the placement of annual and project-specific coverages.
  • Prepare, review, and approve client-ready documentation, including proposals, analysis, comparisons, manuscript policy documents, mid-term changes, new business, and renewals, in conjunction with other team members.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to assist with the growth and development of Associate Brokers or other members of the Construction Services Group.
  • Demonstrate and share best practices.
