About the Role

Amazon Saudi Arabia Marketplace is seeking a Business Analyst for the 3P Hardlines category in Riyadh. This full-time position focuses on shaping the future of the Home and Electronics marketplace by driving strategic initiatives and managing category performance.

Role Overview

This role involves taking ownership of significant portions of the rapidly growing Home and Electronics category's Profit and Loss (P&L), aiming to drive both top-line growth and bottom-line efficiency. The Business Analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives that enhance how third-party sellers engage with the marketplace, including crafting incentive frameworks to align seller success with customer satisfaction. The position requires collaboration across various internal teams, including Quality Assurance and Supply Chain, to ensure high standards for products and optimize logistics for large home items and delicate electronics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leadership on category planning and business strategy for Home and Electronics.
  • Drive a high-quality shopping experience for customers within these categories.
  • Maximize unit sales and Gross Merchandise Sales (GMS) growth through timely analysis and action.
  • Optimize product assortments across various home goods and electronics lines.
  • Develop strategies to enhance seasonal offerings and adapt to technological trends.
  • Partner with Marketplace teams to identify and recruit strategic sellers.
  • Focus on expanding the selection of category group offerings.
  • Develop frameworks to support the onboarding of small to mid-size brands.
  • Create incentive structures to attract national and international brands.
  • Innovate with sellers to improve the customer experience for the 3P business.
  • Ensure seamless integration of the Amazon vision for Home and Electronics on the 3P side.
  • Maintain customer experience parity between 1P and 3P items.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance to uphold product standards.
  • Work with Supply Chain to optimize the delivery experience for large and delicate items.

Daily Activities

Daily activities include driving strategic decision-making through data-driven insights and market analysis. This involves monitoring category performance metrics, collaborating with sellers to optimize their offerings, and working with cross-functional teams to enhance the customer shopping experience. Key tasks include reviewing daily sales performance, conducting seller business reviews, participating in supply chain optimization meetings, and developing strategies for product line expansion and staying ahead of technological trends. The role also focuses on maintaining high-quality standards for home goods and ensuring electronics offerings meet industry specifications and consumer demands.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate possesses significant retail experience in Home and Electronics, combined with a forward-thinking approach to digital commerce. A deep understanding of both categories is necessary to curate customer selections. Strong analytical skills are required to interpret data, inform growth strategies, and support high-level decision-making. The role also demands collaborative leadership abilities, with proficiency in navigating cross-functional partnerships and influencing senior stakeholders across the organization.
