About the Business Analyst Role

Afaq Q Tech General Trading is seeking a Business Analyst to join our Marketplace team in Riyadh. This full-time position focuses on the 3P Hardlines category within the marketplace, contributing to strategic planning and business development.

Role Overview

This role involves taking ownership of significant portions of the fast-growing Home and Electronics category P&Ls, driving both top-line growth and bottom-line efficiency. The Business Analyst will be responsible for developing strategic initiatives to enhance third-party seller engagement within the Home and Electronics marketplace, creating incentive frameworks that align seller success with customer satisfaction. Collaboration will extend across various internal teams, including Quality Assurance and Supply Chain, to ensure high standards for products and optimized logistics.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership on category planning and business strategy for Home and Electronics.
• Drive a high-quality shopping experience for customers within the Home and Electronics categories.
• Maximize unit sales and Gross Merchandise Sales (GMS) growth through timely analysis and action.
• Optimize product assortments across various home goods and electronics lines.
• Develop strategies to enhance seasonal offerings and adapt to technological trends.
• Partner with Marketplace teams to identify and recruit strategic sellers in Home and Electronics.
• Focus on expanding category selection offerings.
• Develop frameworks to support small to mid-size brands within these categories.
• Create incentive structures to attract national and international brands to the platform.
• Innovate with sellers to improve customer experience for the Home and Electronics 3P business.
• Ensure seamless integration of the third-party offerings with existing Amazon visions for Home and Electronics.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance teams to maintain high standards for electronics and home goods.
• Work with Supply Chain to optimize the delivery experience for large home items and delicate electronics.

Daily Activities

In this role, you will drive strategic decision-making through data-driven insights and market analysis. Daily activities include monitoring category performance metrics, collaborating with sellers to optimize their offerings, and working with cross-functional teams to enhance the customer shopping experience. This involves reviewing sales performance, conducting seller business reviews, participating in supply chain optimization meetings, and developing strategies for product line expansion and staying current with technological trends. Maintaining high-quality standards for home goods and ensuring electronics offerings meet industry specifications and consumer demands are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience in managing and troubleshooting networks, or experience demonstrating strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
• Experience with data and analysis tools including Microsoft Excel and SQL.
• Master of Business Administration, or an Associate's degree or above.
• Experience managing multiple projects concurrently through prioritization, planning, and task delegation.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience identifying challenges and working with diverse teams and data sources to diagnose problems and recommend solutions.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and managing large, complex programs.
• Experience with tools/systems for data analysis, including Excel, Access, SQL, or other data management systems.
• Experience with P&L responsibility and delivering strong financial results.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh. The role operates within a dynamic marketplace environment, requiring collaboration across multiple teams and with external sellers.
