Job Description

About the Role

NextEra is seeking a Business Development professional to focus on early-stage opportunity creation within the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services & Insurance) sector in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position for an individual with 5-10 years of experience in IT Services business development or enterprise sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across BFSI accounts, including banks, insurers, fintechs, CMA, and Tadawul.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across business, IT, procurement, and risk/compliance departments.
  • Drive initial meetings, introductions, and discovery conversations to establish a strong opportunity pipeline.
  • Conduct account research and stakeholder mapping to effectively target decision-makers.
  • Qualify opportunities and ensure structured handover to sales and presales teams.
  • Support pipeline progression through RFP/RFI tracking and coordination with internal teams.
  • Maintain pipeline visibility and reporting within the CRM system.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 5–15 years of experience in BFSI business development, enterprise sales, or account development within IT Services.
  • Proven track record of opening new accounts and generating meetings with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of the BFSI ecosystem and buying cycles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

  • High Ownership & Discipline: Ability to independently drive pipeline and conversions.
