About the Role

Baraya Extended Care is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead the expansion of outpatient rehabilitation services within Long-Term Care (LTC) facilities. Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, this full-time role involves identifying growth opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue through new referrals. The position requires a focus on market insight, strong relationship building, and achieving measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development plans to grow outpatient rehabilitation services in LTC settings.
  • Identify, cultivate, and formalize strategic partnerships with clinics, hospitals, physicians, and payer networks.
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and service-level agreements.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to adjust strategies effectively.
  • Prospect and qualify new business opportunities, converting leads into signed agreements.
  • Develop value propositions and tailored presentations for diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from lead generation to onboarding and retention.
  • Track key metrics including referrals, occupancy, revenue, retention, and contract renewal rates.

Strategic Market Development

  • Lead market analysis to identify demand for outpatient rehabilitation in long-term care settings.
  • Map key stakeholders and create effective go-to-market strategies.
  • Secure new contracts with clinics and referral networks.
  • Expand service lines, including physical, occupational, and speech therapies.
  • Oversee cross-functional project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate patient flow optimization and coordination with clinical teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Interdepartmental Collaboration and Quality Assurance

  • Collaborate with clinical leadership, operations, and marketing teams to ensure aligned service delivery, quality standards, and patient outcomes.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare regular performance reports for senior leadership.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payer policies and reimbursement changes affecting outpatient rehabilitation.
  • Drive patient satisfaction and quality outcomes through partnership quality reviews.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a positive, performance-driven culture.

Required Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Proven track record in healthcare business development, preferably within rehabilitation or outpatient settings.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and project management skills.

Work Environment and Travel

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Regular travel to partner facilities and industry events is expected to manage relationships and maintain market presence.
