Business Development Specialist — District Greenery Solutions
Department: District Greenery
Reports To: Head of Operations / Business Development Officer
Compensation: Basic salary + commission structure
Role Overview
District Greenery is looking for a results-driven Outdoor Sales Executive to develop and close opportunities across residential, F&B, office, government, semi-government, and project-based clients. The role focuses on selling greenery solutions, including natural and artificial plantscaping, planters, green walls, project installations, and ongoing maintenance contracts.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in the field, building long-term relationships with site engineers, fit-out offices, procurement heads, project developers, and decision-makers across government and semi-government entities. This role requires strong follow-up discipline, daily CRM updates, and the ability to coordinate internally with operations and installation teams to ensure projects are executed smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities for District Greenery solutions across residential, F&B, corporate offices, government, semi-government, and development projects.
- Build and maintain relationships with site engineers, fit-out offices, contractors, project managers, procurement heads, and facility managers.
- Handle inbound project inquiries, qualify client requirements, arrange site visits, and coordinate proposal development.
- Maintain the CRM with accurate daily updates, including leads, follow-ups, site visit notes, quotations, client status, and expected closing timelines.
- Work directly with the Head of Operations to prioritize opportunities, mobilize the installation team, and ensure client expectations are aligned with operational capacity.
- Coordinate with project supervisors and installation teams for site measurements, project scheduling, material readiness, and execution timelines.
- Secure recurring maintenance contracts for natural plants, artificial greenery, planters, and installed greenery solutions.
- Follow up on quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close deals in line with company pricing and margin expectations.
- Identify opportunities within construction, fit-out, hospitality, offices, and project development pipelines.
- Support after-sales relationship management to encourage repeat business and contract renewals.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven outdoor sales experience, preferably in greenery, landscaping, fit-out, construction, facilities management, interiors, hospitality, or project-based services.
- Experience dealing with government and semi-government entities is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with construction sites, project development cycles, procurement processes, and fit-out workflows.
- Strong ability to build relationships with engineers, contractors, procurement teams, and project decision-makers.
- Experience using and maintaining a CRM, with a clear habit of daily updates and disciplined follow-up.
- Ability to handle inbound residential, F&B, and office project inquiries professionally from first contact to project handover.
- Strong coordination skills with internal operations, installation teams, and project supervisors.
- Commercially driven, organized, persistent, and comfortable working toward sales targets.
- Arabic and English communication skills are preferred.
- Valid driving license and ability to conduct regular field visits are preferred.
Performance Expectations
Success in this role will be measured by lead generation, CRM discipline, qualified site visits, quotation follow-up, closed project value, maintenance contracts secured, client retention, and overall contribution to District Greenery’s project pipeline.

- GOSI Registration Required or Sponsorship Transfer
- Requires 2-5 Years experience
- Expert or Advanced in English
