About the Business Planning Specialist Role

Alfanar is seeking a Business Planning Specialist to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves supporting strategic initiatives and projects through robust planning, coordination, and performance monitoring. The role requires 2-5 years of experience and contributes to the achievement of organizational objectives by ensuring effective decision-making and timely insights.

Key Responsibilities

The Business Planning Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the development and enhancement of business planning methodologies, tools, and templates, adapting to local business requirements.
  • Maintaining planning documentation, templates, and reporting tools to ensure consistency with organizational standards.
  • Assisting in the review of project schedules and business plans for alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Developing and maintaining project schedules, tracking key milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Monitoring progress against approved plans, identifying potential risks or deviations, and escalating concerns to management.
  • Coordinating with stakeholders to facilitate the timely resolution of planning and execution issues.
  • Tracking and reporting on action items to ensure follow-up and closure.
  • Facilitating communication among internal and external stakeholders for successful project delivery.
  • Preparing reports, presentations, and status updates for management and stakeholders.
  • Consolidating project and business performance data for accurate reporting.
  • Monitoring compliance with established planning processes and organizational standards.
  • Maintaining project and business planning records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyzing performance metrics and trends to support decision-making and improvement initiatives.

Role Accountabilities

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or any relevant field.
  • Work experience ranging from 2 to 4 years.
