About the Chief Commercial Officer Role
Alpha Leadership Co. is seeking a Chief Commercial Officer to lead a significant commercial transformation for a large, PIF-owned organization. This role is pivotal in shifting the company's operational model from a traditional, scale-led approach to a diversified, technology-enabled solutions platform. The position is based in Riyadh and is a full-time opportunity.
Role Overview and Integration
This is a highly visible leadership position with comprehensive accountability for the organization's commercial strategy and execution. The Chief Commercial Officer will be responsible for go-to-market strategies, business development, branding, communications, and procurement oversight across all existing and newly developed business lines. This role serves as a key liaison, integrating efforts between the CEO, various business units, and corporate functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead group-level commercial strategy and go-to-market execution across multiple business lines.
- Drive sales performance, revenue growth, and customer expansion against defined targets.
- Champion the development of new products and services, with a focus on technology-enabled offerings.
- Oversee branding, marketing, and corporate communications, including public relations.
- Govern sales processes, bid management, account management, and procurement activities.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track commercial pipeline and performance.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in business strategy, branding, marketing/PR, and commercial leadership.
- At least 5 years of experience in senior leadership roles.
- A proven track record of building and leading a best-in-class commercial function, preferably within a comparable B2B or services environment.
- Strong commercial finance acumen, with the ability to construct financial business cases and models.
- A Bachelor's degree is required; an MBA is preferred.
Leadership Style and Regional Experience
The ideal candidate will possess a hands-on and dynamic leadership style, coupled with strong skills in managing senior stakeholders and government relationships. Experience within the Saudi Arabian market is considered highly beneficial for this role.
