About the Chocolatier Role

Sahat Almajd Trading Company is seeking a Chocolatier for a full-time, on-site position in Riyadh. This role involves the creation and production of a wide range of chocolate products, contributing to the company's confectionery offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Crafting various chocolate products, including truffles, pralines, bars, and specialty items, adhering to established recipes and developing new flavor combinations.
  • Performing chocolate tempering, preparing fillings, and executing molding and decorating processes.
  • Monitoring product quality and consistency throughout the production process.
  • Ensuring proper storage and handling of all ingredients.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe production environment.
  • Coordinating with bakery and pastry teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Managing inventory of raw materials for chocolate production.
  • Assisting with the packaging and presentation of finished chocolate products.
  • Supporting the setup and maintenance of product displays.
  • Participating in the development and production of seasonal chocolate collections.
  • Collaborating on new product development initiatives to align with customer preferences and brand standards.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A strong foundation in bakery and baking skills, with experience in a professional kitchen or production setting.
  • Hands-on expertise in confectionery and pastry, specifically in the preparation of chocolates, sweets, and desserts.
  • Solid culinary skills, including the ability to accurately follow recipes and develop new flavor concepts.
  • Knowledge of chocolate tempering techniques, ingredient handling, and food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Prior experience as a Chocolatier, pastry chef, or in confectionery production is preferred.
  • A relevant culinary or pastry certification or diploma is considered an advantage.
