Civil Inspector

About the Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Civil Inspector to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves monitoring and inspecting civil construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and client requirements. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor site construction activities and conduct inspections as directed by the Resident Engineer (RE) or Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE).
• Coordinate with contractors on construction, installation, maintenance, testing, and documentation to ensure adherence to specifications, codes, and client requirements.
• Review site operations and construction activities to verify subcontractor compliance with approved designs, standards, specifications, and contract terms.
• Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure operational, quality, and safety requirements are met.
• Assist in identifying, evaluating, and resolving field construction issues to support project schedules and objectives.
• Verify field measurements and construction quantities for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide documentation and records related to changes in contract work.
• Review and monitor subcontractor daily and weekly inspection reports.
• Assist in the preparation and compilation of Bills of Quantity (BoQ) and monthly payment documentation.
• Participate in design review meetings and coordinate with civil engineering teams to support project delivery.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate records of site observations, findings, and corrective actions.
• Support project teams in maintaining quality, safety, and construction compliance throughout project execution.

Required Experience

• Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in civil inspection or a related field.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, where the Civil Inspector will work as part of a project team, collaborating with engineers and contractors on site.
