About the Role

Canon EMEA is seeking a CKSA Sales Account Manager (Government Account) to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to Canon's business sales operations, focusing on the Government sector. The role involves driving revenue growth by expanding sales of Canon's core products and leveraging Office Imaging & Solutions opportunities within this critical vertical.

Role Purpose and Scope

As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring new Business-to-Business (B2B) clients and managing the renewal, upsell, and cross-sell activities for existing clients in the Government sector. You will serve as the primary relationship lead and an internal advocate for these clients at CKSA, understanding their unique environments, business needs, technology visions, and internal motivations. Your objective will be to fulfill client needs, grow annual revenue, ensure client satisfaction and retention, and maximize Canon's brand awareness across the KSA market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and manage a pipeline of top-quality prospects within the Government sector across KSA, handling both short and long sales cycles.
  • Drive retention and revenue growth for existing CKSA Government clients.
  • Establish and maintain strong business relationships with stakeholders, guiding potential customers through the sales journey and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Acquire and close new business deals through proactive prospecting and cold calling.
  • Identify qualified prospects, navigate organizational structures to reach decision-makers, and identify opportunities for business growth with existing clients.
  • Apply consultative sales skills to explain product benefits and features, overcome objections, and close sales effectively.
  • Lead customer engagements, meetings, and develop proposals to position and close deals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, delivering presentations and proposals both face-to-face and online.
  • Track and analyze market trends, identify new business opportunities, and maintain comprehensive market knowledge.
  • Maintain an active pipeline report in Salesforce, logging all activities accurately.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their needs and articulate product value, building trust and influence through product knowledge.
  • Quote prices and rates as required to finalize deals.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals and expectations, contributing to overall sales revenue growth.
  • Ensure a seamless client onboarding process, introducing the account team and establishing regular communication.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a proactive individual who excels at identifying new opportunities while also cultivating long-term client relationships. This role requires an independent, solution-driven professional focused on securing significant deals and fostering strong customer loyalty within the Government sector.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar sales role and industry, specifically within the Government sector.
  • A B2B Account Management background is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid KSA driving license and personal car is mandatory.
