About the Role

King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre in Riyadh is seeking a Clinical Engineer II to provide technical support for medical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and analytical devices and systems. This full-time position is crucial for supporting applied patient healthcare and healthcare research within the institution.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide demand and scheduled preventative maintenance for assigned medical and research equipment, adhering to manufacturers' guidelines.
• Demonstrate competence in the basic operation and application of assigned medical and research equipment.
• Review schematic drawings, manufacturer's instructions, and manuals, or obtain verbal instructions to diagnose technical problems and facilitate repair and preventative maintenance.
• Utilize all required testing instruments and hand tools for the repair and preventative maintenance of assigned medical equipment.
• Provide user education and instruction as required.
• Train and guide Clinical Engineering Technicians, SCDP participants, Student Interns, and other Clinical Engineering staff on the technical support of medical technology.
• Adhere to all Hospital-related policies and procedures.
• Participate in personal and team education, training, and development.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Technology or a related discipline is required.
• A minimum of two (2) years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree is required.
• A valid license from the country of origin is necessary.
