About MRSOOL and the Procurement Co-op Internship

MRSOOL (مرسول) is a prominent delivery platform operating across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, recognized for its comprehensive "order anything from anywhere" service. The platform leverages Generative AI and an extensive network of on-demand couriers to ensure efficient and reliable delivery. We are seeking a motivated Procurement Co-op Intern to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This internship offers a practical opportunity to gain direct experience in procurement operations within a dynamic business environment.

Purpose of the Role

The Procurement Co-op Intern will provide essential support to the Procurement team, contributing to daily operational tasks and learning core procurement processes. This role is designed to develop practical skills in areas such as supplier coordination, purchase requests, documentation, and data management, while fostering collaboration with various internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Procurement team with daily operational tasks.
  • Assist in the preparation of purchase requests and purchase orders.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to follow up on quotations and deliveries.
  • Maintain procurement records and ensure documentation is current.
  • Assist with data entry, reporting, and filing of procurement documents.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate procurement activities.
  • Learn and apply established procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Procurement team.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Eligible to complete a Co-op internship as part of university academic requirements.
  • Demonstrated strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Possess keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Eagerness to learn, a proactive approach, and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Arabic.

Internship Structure

The internship operates 5 days a week, with 8 working hours per day and a 1-hour lunch break. Upon successful completion of the internship, a Certificate of Completion will be awarded.
