About the Role

Mawarid Manpower Company is seeking a Commissioning ELV Engineer for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role is responsible for executing the commissioning of ELV, ICT, BMS, SAS, and Fire & Life Safety systems on complex projects to ensure safe, SBC-Compliant, and on-schedule handover with complete and auditable records. The required experience for this position is between 2 to 5 years.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform pre-functional and functional tests according to approved Method Statements, ITPs, and Test Packs, accurately recording measurements and results.
• Conduct tests for Fire Alarm & PAVA/Voice Evac systems, including device addressing/labels, loop/line tests, cause-and-effect verification, audibility/intelligibility checks, and battery/autonomy assessments.
• Execute tests for Security systems (Access Control/CCTV/Intrusion), verifying device I/O, events/alarms, storage & retention, and basic analytics scenarios.
• Perform tests for Emergency Lighting & Lighting Control systems, including auto-test/DT, spot lux checks, scenario/override functionality, and BMS/FA interlocks.
• Conduct tests for ICT/Structured Cabling & Fiber, including OTDR, end-to-end loss measurements, copper certification (Fluke classes), and rack/patch management verification.
• Perform basic sweep/coverage spot checks and operator/vendor integration readiness tests for IBS/DAS & Wi-Fi systems.
• Test functional scenarios and BMS/FA interface for SMATV/IPTV, Intercom, and Parking/ANPR systems.
• Participate in Integrated System Testing (IST) with BMS/FA/Electrical teams, executing scripted steps, capturing logs, and reporting deviations.
• Verify installation against drawings, specifications, and codes, raising and tracking RFIs/NCRs to closure with supporting evidence.
• Produce test results, update cause-and-effect matrices, and provide red-line/as-built inputs; support O&M and training packages.
• Prepare documentation for Authority/third-party inspections in KSA, assembling labels, logs, and evidence for Saudi Civil Defense and House of Expertise engagements, aligning with SBC, NFPA, IEC, TIA, and BICSI standards.
• Submit weekly progress updates to the Commissioning Manager and escalate risks promptly.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in ELV testing and commissioning on building or complex facility projects.
• Hands-on experience with FAT/SAT/FPT, ITP/Test Packs, and participation in IST.
• Practical experience across Fire Alarm Systems (FAS)/PAVA, Access Control/CCTV, Emergency Lighting, Lighting Control, and Structured Cabling/Fiber.
• Familiarity with relevant standards including SBC, NFPA 72/101, IEC/BS EN, and TIA/BICSI.
• Competency with ELV test equipment, including addressing/programming tools, sound level/intelligibility meters, lux meters, OTDR, and copper certifiers.
• Awareness of HSE protocols (PTW/LOTO), strong technical reporting skills, and proficiency in reading drawings and specifications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Commissioning experience in healthcare facilities, airports, data centers, rail projects, or high-rise buildings.
• Familiarity with major vendors in BMS (*, Honeywell, JCI, Siemens), Access Control/CCTV/Access systems, PAVA systems, and structured cabling solutions.
• Experience with third-party certifications and Authority approvals, such as Civil Defense and House of Expertise.
