About the Role: Competitive Coder

YO IT Consulting is seeking a Competitive Coder to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves applying specialized expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. The work will directly shape how AI models learn, reason, and perform through the provision of high-quality, real-world input.

Role Purpose and Contribution

The primary purpose of this position is to leverage strong competitive programming skills to contribute to advanced AI development. Candidates are not required to have prior experience in AI; the critical factor for success in this role is deep domain knowledge in competitive programming and algorithmic problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust checkers for competitive programming problems that may feature multiple valid outputs, ensuring accuracy.
• Evaluate and validate participant submissions against complex problem statements, including those sourced from platforms such as Codeforces.
• Collaborate with customer teams to fine-tune problem requirements and clarify ambiguous scenarios.
• Develop clear and maintainable code in C++ to efficiently assess diverse outputs and edge cases.
• Document checker logic and effectively communicate intricacies or edge cases in both written and verbal formats.
• Provide constructive feedback to problem setters and reviewers regarding potential improvements to test cases and checkers.
• Stay informed about evolving competitive programming standards and integrate best practices into checker development processes.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 0-1 years of experience in competitive programming or a closely related technical field. Essential qualifications include strong proficiency in C++ programming and a demonstrated ability to solve complex algorithmic problems. The role requires a methodical approach to problem analysis and the capability to design effective validation mechanisms.
