Computer and Virtualization Engineer (Immediate Joiner)

About the Role

VaporVM is seeking a Computer and Virtualization Engineer to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on managing and optimizing enterprise virtualization, Windows Server, and endpoint management environments. The position requires hands-on expertise across various technologies, ensuring system performance, security, and operational reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot VMware ESXi and vCenter environments.
• Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance using VMware vRealize Suite (vROps), performing capacity planning, upgrades, and migrations.
• Manage Windows Server 2016 and above, including upgrades, migrations, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Create and deploy applications, packages, and task sequences using Microsoft SCCM / Configuration Manager.
• Manage software deployment, endpoint patching, and security updates for enterprise endpoint management.
• Monitor infrastructure using various tools, reports, logs, and operational dashboards, identifying and recommending performance improvements.
• Utilize PowerShell and automation to streamline routine administration and service delivery.
• Maintain technical documentation for VMware, SCCM, and Windows environments, supporting audits and compliance reviews.
• Coordinate with VMware and Microsoft vendors for technical issues and escalations, managing support cases to ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in a relevant role.
• Hands-on experience with VMware ESXi, vCenter, and vRealize/vROps.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft SCCM / Configuration Manager.
• Experience with Windows Server 2016 and above.
• Strong understanding of virtualization, infrastructure monitoring, patch management, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of PowerShell, automation, and ITIL is an advantage.
