Consolidation & Reporting Specialist

About the Role

alfanar Group is seeking a Consolidation & Reporting Specialist to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves supporting financial consolidation and reporting across various entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards, maintaining system accuracy, and providing timely financial analysis. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Purpose and Scope

The primary purpose of this role is to support the financial consolidation and reporting functions within alfanar Group. The specialist will ensure that all financial statements are prepared accurately and in accordance with IFRS, contribute to audit processes, and identify opportunities for process improvement within the financial reporting cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation processes across multiple entities.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements in alignment with IFRS requirements.
• Execute intercompany reconciliations and resolve any identified discrepancies.
• Maintain and update consolidation systems and tools, such as Prophix.
• Monitor data accuracy and system performance within financial reporting tools.
• Support financial analysis and disclosures.
• Collaborate and coordinate with various teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Provide support during audit processes.
• Contribute to the identification and implementation of process improvements.

Accountabilities and Compliance

This role holds accountability for ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, including IFRS. The specialist is expected to contribute to business process improvements, maintain high-quality output, and adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards. Proficiency in HR-related financial aspects and effective problem-solving are also key accountabilities.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in financial consolidation and reporting.
• Demonstrated experience with IFRS requirements for financial statements.
• Proficiency in using consolidation systems and tools, with experience in Prophix being an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills for financial data and intercompany reconciliations.
