About the Role

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee infrastructure projects in the Riyadh Region. This full-time position requires a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in construction and supervision.

Key Responsibilities

The Construction Manager will be responsible for leading and managing on-site construction supervision for various infrastructure projects, including roads, utilities, and drainage systems. Key duties include:

  • Ensuring all construction activities adhere to approved design drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Monitoring contractor performance and ensuring compliance with project schedules.
  • Supervising contractors, subcontractors, and site teams on a daily basis.
  • Reviewing and approving method statements, work plans, and construction schedules.
  • Overseeing the proper allocation of manpower, materials, and equipment.

Quality Assurance and Control

A critical aspect of this role involves implementing and enforcing site-specific QA/QC procedures. This includes conducting inspections, reviewing test results, and ensuring that any necessary corrective actions are taken. Compliance with international standards and Saudi codes/regulations is mandatory.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
  • A Master’s degree in Construction Management or a related field is considered a plus.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in infrastructure construction and supervision projects.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale infrastructure works, including roads, utilities, and urban development.
  • Experience working in Riyadh or the GCC region is highly preferred.
