About the Role

Soudah Development is seeking a Contracts and Transaction Services Manager to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position focuses on safeguarding the company's legal interests and rights through robust contractual, corporate, and commercial processes, while ensuring efficient document management and adherence to best practices.

Contractual Oversight and Preparation

The Contracts and Transaction Services Manager will be responsible for ensuring Soudah Development's legal interests and rights are adequately protected. This involves close collaboration with the Procurement department on the development of standard and non-standard agreements and templates. The role requires negotiation and evaluation of contracts, ensuring compliance with risk management practices and policies. Additionally, the manager will prepare and draft legal materials, conduct legal due diligence for transactions and agreements, and provide recommendations for risk mitigation. Support will be provided for projects, partnerships, and joint ventures, as well as the review of commercial agreements and Public-Private Partnership (PPP) initiatives.

Contract and Document Management

A key aspect of this role is taking responsibility for the management of Soudah Development's documents, ensuring their accuracy, quality, and integrity. The manager will assist in adhering to record retention policies, safeguarding information, and facilitating effective data retrieval. Contractual terms and conditions will be administered from initiation through close-out and audit stages, ensuring alignment with company policies, standards, and the legal framework. Compliance with internal and external policies and procedures is essential to protect the company's interests. The role also includes verifying compliance with service level agreements before invoice approval.

Document Control and Administration

This position involves the intake, management, and storage of Soudah Development's documents to ensure efficient information retrieval. Responsibilities include reviewing, processing, and filing documentation, managing documentation operations for cost-efficiency, and reporting errors in document storage to maintain the document management system and physical records. The success of the document management process will be ensured through proper filing and archiving, and timely retrieval of files for internal stakeholders. Assistance will also be provided to employees in accessing documents via the company's document management system.

Qualifications and Education

Candidates are required to possess a Bachelor's degree in Law or an equivalent qualification from a recognized and accredited university. A Master's degree in any related field from a recognized and accredited university is preferred.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh.
