About the Role

Four Points by Sheraton is seeking a Controller Rooms to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position is ideal for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on efficient room management and guest satisfaction within a hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign rooms based on guest requests and preferences, when feasible.
• Pre-register designated guests and prepare key packets for arrivals.
• Organize and coordinate check-in/pre-registration procedures for groups.
• Review, track, and accommodate requests for room or check-out changes, communicating status to relevant staff.
• Confirm reservations and process cancellations accurately.
• Review out-of-order rooms daily to ensure operational readiness.
• Verify that rates align with market codes and document any exceptions.
• Adjust guest billing as necessary and file all guest paperwork.
• Process all guest check-ins and check-outs, including activating room keys and securing valid payments.
• Identify and address any over-commitments or duplicate reservations, blocking rooms as required.
• Generate daily reports and follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction with requests or problem resolution.
• Receive, record, and relay messages accurately and legibly.

Operational and Service Standards

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, maintaining a professional appearance and uniform.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing service needs.
• Assist individuals with disabilities and express genuine appreciation to guests.
• Communicate professionally, prepare accurate written documents, and answer telephones with appropriate etiquette.
• Coordinate tasks and collaborate effectively with other departments.
• Serve as a departmental role model, fostering positive working relationships and supporting team goals.
• Comply with all quality assurance standards.

Physical Requirements and Systems

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Proficiency in entering and locating information using computers and/or POS systems.
• Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in a related field.
• Ability to perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
