About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Controller-Rooms to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience and involves managing guest room assignments, pre-registration processes, and ensuring accurate billing and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign rooms based on guest requests and preferences, and pre-register designated guests, preparing key packets.
• Organize and coordinate check-in/pre-registration procedures for arriving groups.
• Review, track, and accommodate requests for room/check-out changes, communicating status to relevant staff.
• Confirm reservations and cancellations, and review out-of-order rooms daily.
• Ensure rates match market codes, document exceptions, and verify and adjust guest billing.
• File guest paperwork, set up and process all guest check-ins/check-outs, and activate room keys.
• Secure valid payment, identify over-commitments, perform duplicate reservation checks, and block rooms.
• Run daily reports and follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction with requests or problem resolution.
• Receive, record, and relay messages accurately, completely, and legibly.

General Duties

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, maintain a professional appearance, and ensure confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Communicate professionally, prepare accurate written documents, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
• Coordinate tasks with other departments and serve as a departmental role model.
• Develop positive working relationships and support team goals.
• Comply with quality assurance standards.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and enter/locate information using computers and/or POS systems.
• Lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
