About the Role
NeoStats Analytics is seeking a Controls and Governance Consultant to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a contract position for approximately 10 months, requiring an onsite presence. As a Data & Analytics firm established in 2022, NeoStats focuses on transforming clients into data-driven organizations through contemporary solutions and end-to-end data and analytics services. The company operates with a global presence, including headquarters in the UAE and bases in India and the UK, driven by industry veterans committed to structural transformations.
Role Overview and Purpose
The Controls and Governance Consultant will be responsible for ensuring operational discipline, accuracy, and compliance within the card products function. This role serves as the primary line of control, safeguarding processes, reviewing partner deliverables, and maintaining the integrity of customer-facing information and internal documentation. Success in this position requires persistence, exceptional attention to detail, and a persuasive approach to influence stakeholders and enforce established standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the internal point of accountability for governance within the cards team, ensuring adherence to standards and procedures.
- Review partner and vendor reports to validate compliance with regulatory, contractual, and operational requirements.
- Monitor contractual timelines, proactively flagging expired or soon-to-expire agreements for renewal or closure.
- Oversee telesales scripts and operations to confirm accuracy of cardholder communications and consistency with product documentation.
- Ensure customer-facing channels, including websites and applications, present accurate and consistent information across all card products and offers.
- Review and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for card business functions, ensuring relevance, accuracy, and timely updates.
- Audit marketing and product collateral to prevent the dissemination of obsolete or conflicting content across digital and print touchpoints.
- Provide meticulous review of contracts, agreements, and business cases before escalation for leadership review.
- Directly support the Head of Cards in day-to-day governance and oversight.
- Collaborate with product managers, operations teams, telesales, and external vendors to align practices with contractual and compliance requirements.
- Persuasively influence internal and external stakeholders to drive corrective actions, enforce accuracy, and close identified gaps.
Qualifications and Experience
- Mandatory proficiency in both English and Arabic.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a structured and methodical approach.
- Proven ability to review and interpret contracts, partner agreements, and reports.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to persuade, influence, and follow through until closure.
- A proactive and persistent personality, capable of balancing control responsibilities while maintaining strong working relationships.
- Comfortable working within card product teams and supporting senior leadership directly.
- Strong governance, compliance, and documentation management experience, preferably within financial services or payment products.
- Relevant experience of 8-10 years in a similar role.
