Oliver Agency Germany is seeking a Copywriter to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires 5-10 years of experience and focuses on developing platform-native copy for diverse digital channels. The agency, established in 2004, specializes in building and running bespoke in-house agencies and marketing ecosystems for brands globally, leveraging cutting-edge AI technology as part of The Brandtech Group.

Role Summary

The Copywriter will be responsible for crafting compelling copy across various formats, including captions, hooks, CTAs, community responses, campaign lines, and longer brand narratives. This role demands a quick transition from trend to idea, maintaining nuance and craft while adhering to platform requirements, audience behavior, and GCC cultural context. Collaboration with Creative, Strategy, Social, and Production leads is central to translating ideas into scalable and timely copy, always honoring the client's tone of voice.

Key Responsibilities

• Write platform-native copy in both Arabic (Saudi-localized) and English, covering hooks, captions, CTAs, headlines, and extended brand storytelling.
• Lead transcreation efforts, adapting campaign concepts and messaging across languages while preserving intent, tone, and cultural resonance.
• Ensure editorial quality and consistent tone of voice across all written outputs.
• Produce reactive and planned content at a newsroom pace, moving efficiently from trend identification to concept development and final post.
• Collaborate closely with social strategists, social media managers, and creative directors to ensure copy is platform-native and creator-friendly.
• Manage rapid-turnaround briefs and content calendars, maintaining brand integrity and community tone.
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate ideation and drafting processes, developing and refining bilingual prompting techniques.
• Edit, optimize, and localize AI-generated outputs for brand voice, platform context, and Saudi/GCC relevance.
• Define and enforce quality-control processes for all AI-assisted writing.
• Stay informed on GCC cultural trends, platform shifts, and audience behavior, using insights to shape copy strategies.
• Apply performance data and learnings to iterate copy approaches and enhance effectiveness.
• Contribute to competitive and cultural analysis to identify creative opportunities and differentiation points.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrable social-first studio or agency experience within a fast-paced, real-time content environment.
• A strong bilingual portfolio (Arabic and English) showcasing platform-native social work and measurable impact where applicable.
• Proven ability to work at pace, managing multiple briefs and rapid turnarounds without compromising craft or accuracy.
• Demonstrable transcreation expertise, including adapting ideas across languages and markets while preserving intent, tone, and cultural resonance.
• Platform fluency across Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, X, and YouTube Shorts, with an intuitive understanding of hooks, formats, and optimal length.
• Strong editorial judgment, impeccable bilingual grammar, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Familiarity with social studio tools and workflows (CMS, scheduling, collaborative creative platforms) and an understanding of GCC regulatory and advertising standards.
