About the Role

Tangent International is seeking an experienced CS Core Engineer to join a significant telecommunications project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is offered on a 12-month contract basis and involves providing critical second-line technical authority support within the transmission domain.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to ensure the stability and operational excellence of the network. The Core Engineer will be responsible for the timely restoration of services across critical telecom infrastructure, contributing directly to the reliability and performance of the telecommunications network.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide second-line technical authority support for network operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to transmission, routing, and switching.
• Support node acceptance processes and manage configuration.
• Perform software maintenance and engage in problem management activities.
• Manage and resolve network outages and service degradation incidents.
• Support audit activities and prepare necessary reports.
• Coordinate effectively with customer, vendor, and internal engineering teams.
• Guide First Line teams during complex troubleshooting scenarios.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background as a CS Core Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess robust technical expertise in telecommunications transmission domains, coupled with proven abilities in network troubleshooting, maintenance, and operational support. Experience in coordinating with various stakeholders is essential for success in this role.
