About the Role

MIS - Al Moammar Information Systems Co. is seeking a dedicated Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to safeguarding our information systems and networks, ensuring robust security posture and operational resilience.

Role Purpose

The Cybersecurity Specialist will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining comprehensive cybersecurity measures. This involves proactive threat detection, incident response, and continuous improvement of security controls to protect company assets and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor systems and networks, detect threats, and respond to security incidents.
• Implement and develop cybersecurity controls and policies.
• Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments, security testing, and penetration testing.
• Implement and follow up on security audits, preparing reports and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with approved regulations, bylaws, and standards.
• Review the security aspects of contracts, projects, and services provided by external parties.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities to address risks and improve the level of cybersecurity.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field.
• No less than 10 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity, with a preference for experience in meteorological systems and applications.
• Demonstrated experience in operational security, risk and vulnerability management, compliance, and security auditing.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NCA ECC, NIST, and ISO 27001.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, or Security+ are preferred.
