About the Role
NHC is seeking a Cybersecurity Incident Sr. Specialist to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves supporting the Cybersecurity Defense, Operations, and Monitoring Manager in delivering comprehensive incident management services. The role is critical in detecting, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity incidents to minimize organizational impact and enhance NHC’s cybersecurity posture.
Core Responsibilities
The Cybersecurity Incident Sr. Specialist will be responsible for the following:
- Monitoring security events across NHC systems and networks to detect potential security incidents.
- Analyzing security alerts and logs from various sources to identify and assess incident severity.
- Conducting root cause analysis to determine the origin and impact of incidents.
- Developing and implementing incident response plans, covering detection, analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Coordinating and leading incident response efforts to address and resolve cybersecurity incidents promptly.
- Documenting and reporting incidents, including root cause analysis and lessons learned.
- Ensuring compliance with cybersecurity regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Conducting regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to cybersecurity policies.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to enhance cybersecurity measures and share threat intelligence.
- Contributing to promoting awareness of cybersecurity incident management policies and procedures across NHC.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in incident response and management, including root cause analysis and developing incident response plans.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and NCA.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement, project management, and planning.
Preferred Certifications
The following certifications are preferred for this position:
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- GIAC Enterprise Incident Responder (GEIR)
- GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
Reporting and Relationships
This role reports directly to the Cybersecurity Defense and Operations Manager. Key internal relationships include NHC Departments and Business Units Team Members. External relationships involve collaboration with Regulatory Bodies (*, NCA), Industry Partners and Vendors, and Government and Industry Forums.
Work Location and Type
The position is based in Riyadh and is a full-time engagement.
