The Role of Cybersecurity Product Manager

Asal Technologies is seeking a Cybersecurity Product Manager to develop new cybersecurity solutions. This full-time role involves guiding products from validated market needs to secure, scalable, and commercially successful offerings. The position integrates cybersecurity expertise with product strategy and business objectives. As an early product hire, the manager will collaborate with founders, design partners, and early customers, including CISOs, security engineers, and SOC teams, as well as engineering and go-to-market partners, to address security challenges with differentiated products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define product vision and strategic direction by identifying high-value cybersecurity problems, target customers, and market opportunities.
  • Lead customer discovery with CISOs, security engineers, and SOC teams, translating workflows, threats, and early-adopter feedback into product priorities.
  • Monitor the cybersecurity landscape, including buyer needs, market trends, competitors, emerging technologies, and evolving threats.
  • Own the product roadmap and MVP definition, converting business and customer needs into clear, actionable product requirements.
  • Partner with engineering and cybersecurity teams to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly products through rapid prototyping and iterative development.
  • Ensure product compatibility with modern security stacks, integrating with SIEM/SOAR, EDR/XDR, identity, and cloud platforms, while maintaining high standards for security and reliability.
  • Shape go-to-market plans, including positioning, target segments, pricing, pilot programs, and strategic partnerships.
  • Define success metrics, monitor adoption and product performance, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement, expansion, and new offerings.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in product management, particularly within the cybersecurity domain. The role requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity challenges and market dynamics.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role involves working closely with internal teams, including engineering and cybersecurity, as well as external partners and customers.
