About the Role

NTT DATA is seeking a Data Protection & DLP Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is crucial for defining, designing, and implementing a comprehensive data protection framework to safeguard sensitive and regulated information across the organization. The specialist will focus on ensuring compliance and preventing data loss, working with advanced technologies and collaborating with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a multi-layered data protection strategy, including data classification, data discovery, encryption controls, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technologies.
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce DLP policies and rulesets to prevent unauthorized disclosure of confidential data across email, web, cloud, and endpoints.
  • Configure, tune, and manage Symantec DLP and/or Forcepoint DLP solutions for effective detection, monitoring, and mitigation of data leakage.
  • Conduct regular data security risk assessments and provide recommendations for corrective actions to improve the organization's security posture.
  • Investigate and respond to potential data protection incidents, ensuring timely containment and effective remediation.
  • Collaborate with business units to understand data usage requirements and implement appropriate controls aligned with regulatory standards.
  • Deliver training and awareness sessions on data protection best practices and compliance obligations.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, reporting, and governance processes for data protection and DLP operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in data security, with a specialization in data protection and DLP.
  • Hands-on experience implementing and managing Symantec DLP and/or Forcepoint DLP solutions is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of data classification frameworks, data privacy regulations (*, GDPR, CCPA), and encryption technologies.
  • Experience with cloud-based data protection solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and incident response capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
