Demand & Supply Planner

About the Role

Al Manhal Water Factory (Nestlé Waters KSA) is seeking a Demand & Supply Planner to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is essential for ensuring product availability, optimizing inventory, and maximizing profitability by aligning supply with customer demand across all branches and warehouses in KSA. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Purpose and Context

The primary purpose of the Demand & Supply Planner is to ensure that the correct products are available in the right quantities, at the optimal time and cost, to meet customer demand effectively. This involves daily monitoring of stock levels, days of supply, and sales reports in coordination with the logistics department. The role also encompasses creating production and dispatch plans, as well as material planning in collaboration with the procurement department and suppliers to meet forecasted production volumes.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze regional forecasts, sales forecasts, warehouse available space, and production capacity.
• Conduct detailed forecast analysis per SKU to enhance demand planning accuracy.
• Update and monitor DSP KPIs, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure all planning process and system documentation is current and compliant with company standards.
• Analyze sales trends and identify key drivers for major products and product groups.
• Manage production planning and material planning to maintain optimum inventory levels for both finished goods and raw/packaging materials, preventing bad goods and stock-outs.
• Prepare statistical forecasts to support the sales forecasting process and improve demand planning accuracy.
• Conduct production planning based on available stocks, capacity, demand, and actual sales trends.
• Perform material planning considering available material stock, demand, actual sales trends, and warehouse capacity, ensuring materials are within shelf life and optimizing inventory cost.
• Execute supply/dispatch planning to balance stock levels and prevent product spoilage.
• Facilitate volume communications between commercial and technical teams.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or a related field.
