About the Role

Lucid Motors Saudi Arabia is seeking a skilled Denter to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position focuses on restoring vehicle body panels and structural components to meet manufacturer and company quality standards, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Role Overview

The Denter is responsible for the precise repair of damaged vehicle bodywork. This involves diagnosing the extent of damage, performing necessary repairs using approved methods and tools, and ensuring that all work adheres to OEM standards and company quality expectations. The role requires a meticulous approach to maintain the integrity and appearance of vehicle structures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess body damage and determine repair requirements.
  • Execute repairs on dents, damaged panels, and structural body components using appropriate techniques and tools.
  • Remove, repair, and replace damaged vehicle parts such as doors, fenders, bumpers, quarter panels, and hoods.
  • Perform panel beating, welding, grinding, cutting, and metal shaping as needed.
  • Ensure all repairs comply with OEM standards, safety regulations, and company quality benchmarks.
  • Utilize specialized workshop equipment for body alignment and structural correction.
  • Collaborate with Paint Technicians and Service Advisors to ensure a streamlined workflow and timely vehicle delivery.
  • Identify and report any hidden damages or additional repair needs to the supervisor.
  • Maintain workshop tools and equipment in good working order.
  • Adhere to all workshop safety procedures, environmental regulations, and housekeeping standards.
  • Contribute to achieving workshop productivity, efficiency targets, and customer satisfaction objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should possess a strong understanding of automotive body repair and denting techniques, with experience in using welding machines, dent pulling systems, and body alignment equipment. The ability to interpret repair manuals and technical instructions is essential. A minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive denting/body repair is required. A high school diploma or technical certification in Automotive Body Repair is preferred. Basic English communication skills are necessary, with Arabic being an advantage. A valid driving license is also preferred. Experience with premium or electric vehicles is considered a plus.

Technical and Personal Attributes

Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset, coupled with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. The capacity to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines is important. Good teamwork and communication skills are necessary, alongside strong organizational and time management capabilities. Familiarity with modern automotive repair technologies and workshop practices is expected.
