About the Role

LAMBA Innovation Center is seeking a Design Educator to deliver high-quality, interactive lessons and workshops in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position focuses on inspiring students to explore design within a dynamic STEAM environment and is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience.

Role Overview

The Design Educator plays a key role in creating engaging educational content, including presentations, lesson plans, guides, and outlines. This position involves working on design initiatives, participating in company meetings and training sessions, and providing feedback for continuous improvement. The role contributes to research and development efforts to enhance program relevance and effectiveness, while ensuring compliance with educational and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging, interactive, and hands-on courses, lessons, workshops, and studio sessions rooted in design and the broader STEAM framework.
  • Tailor learning experiences to diverse age groups and learning styles, encouraging inquiry, experimentation, and deep conceptual understanding.
  • Support students through all stages of design and innovation, from idea generation to prototyping, testing, and iteration.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and innovation-driven studio environment that promotes exploration, collaboration, and creativity.
  • Support the documentation, assessment, and presentation of student learning through portfolios, exhibitions, and showcases.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and the wider community to highlight student progress and program impact.
  • Support the creation and sharing of design-related content through social media channels to showcase student achievements and program initiatives.

Curriculum and Program Development

  • Create and maintain high-quality educational materials, including lesson plans, guides, and presentations.
  • Collaborate with fellow educators, technologists, and designers to co-develop and continuously refine interdisciplinary curriculum content.
  • Participate in research, development, and program evaluation to ensure effectiveness, relevance, and innovation.

Professional Growth and Engagement

  • Attend meetings, training sessions, conferences, and professional development opportunities to stay current within the STEAM ecosystem.
  • Mentor and train student teams for participation in national, regional, and international STEAM competitions.
  • Stay responsive to emerging technologies, educational trends, and new opportunities for growth.
  • Design and facilitate training programs in collaboration with external partners such as schools, government entities, and community organizations.
  • Provide constructive feedback to colleagues and contribute to program improvement initiatives.

  • Experience level of 0-1 years in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated collaborative spirit and a passion for teaching.
  • Ability to follow directions and guidance from management to achieve educational goals.
