About the Director - Commercial Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an experienced Director - Commercial to oversee the commercial strategy and operations for its transport hub projects. This position is integral to the successful commercial execution and growth of transport infrastructure within the Qiddiya development, a significant project focused on transforming entertainment, sports, and cultural experiences in Saudi Arabia. The role is based in Riyadh Province.

Role Overview and Objectives

The Director - Commercial will be responsible for developing and implementing targeted commercial plans for transport hubs, managing key stakeholder relationships, and identifying and driving revenue generation opportunities. Collaboration with internal project teams, government entities, and private sector partners will be essential to optimize commercial performance and ensure alignment with Qiddiya’s overarching strategic objectives. This is a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute commercial strategies and business plans specifically for transport hub projects within Qiddiya.
  • Lead negotiations and manage contracts with partners, vendors, and service providers relevant to transport hubs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to maximize commercial opportunities.
  • Oversee revenue generation strategies, including leasing, concessions, and service agreements.
  • Monitor market trends and assess risks to inform commercial decision-making for transport hubs.
  • Manage budgets, financial forecasting, and performance metrics for commercial activities related to transport hubs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in commercial management, with a preference for experience in transport, infrastructure, or related sectors.
  • Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation, stakeholder management, and commercial strategy development.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • A track record of successfully driving commercial outcomes in transport or infrastructure projects.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Transport Management, or a related field; advanced degrees are considered advantageous.
