Qiddiya | القدية is a prominent leader in Saudi Arabia's entertainment and tourism sector. The company is seeking a Director - Development (Guest Arrival Experience) to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to managing the Guest Arrival Experience outcomes within the Right of Way (ROW) for Qiddiya's development projects, ensuring efficient execution and adherence to regulatory standards.

Role Overview

The Director - Development (Guest Arrival Experience) will oversee the development brief, master planning, design, and construction of all assets related to landscaping and the Guest Arrival Experience within the ROW district. This position involves accountability for governance, compliance, and commercial/cost management for all Guest Arrival Experience projects within the assigned geographical area.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of project briefs, business cases, planning, design, logistics, implementation, stakeholder engagement, project controls, operator handover, and closeout.
• Review and update development briefs that outline district scope, including objectives, timing, and budget, to guide the overall concept direction.
• Conduct site visits, respond to queries, and assess technical and commercial bids to ensure successful delivery of all assets and projects.
• Engage with key stakeholders, government entities, operators, and other Qiddiya district teams.
• Manage team objectives through effective leadership, including setting individual goals, managing performance, and developing team members.
• Provide overall direction and guidance to mentor, coach, motivate, and challenge team players.
• Work closely with portfolio leads (Places and Public Realm, Development Marketing, Destination Marketing, and Projects) to coordinate the design, approval, and delivery of integrated outcomes that enhance the visitor experience to Qiddiya City.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in major programs or a similar field.
• Demonstrated expertise in coordinating public realm elements for large-scale projects.
• Strong understanding of local regulations, legal processes, and compliance requirements.
