About the Role

Alat is seeking a Director of Internal Audit to join its Corporate Audit function in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to strengthening the company's governance, risk management, compliance, and control environment. The role involves leading high-quality, risk-based audit engagements to ensure robust oversight and operational resilience.

Role Purpose

The Director of Internal Audit will provide assurance and advisory support across key Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) areas. This includes identifying control gaps and systemic risks, and collaborating closely with management to enhance accountability and the overall control framework within Alat.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver risk-based GRC audit engagements.
• Assess governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
• Identify control gaps, emerging risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare clear, high-impact audit reports and executive-level insights.
• Engage senior stakeholders and support informed decision-making processes.
• Monitor remediation plans and ensure their timely implementation.
• Support enterprise risk assessments and annual audit planning activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in internal audit, governance, risk management, or compliance.
