Distributed Control System Engineer

About the Role

AIQU is seeking an experienced Distributed Control System Engineer for a contract opportunity based in Saudi Arabia. This role involves site-based work, with a primary focus on projects located in the Northern Region. The contract duration is for one year, with potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform DCS maintenance, modifications, and configurations.
• Conduct troubleshooting and loop checks for control systems.
• Work with Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), specifically Triconex.
• Engage with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), including Siemens TIA Portal / S7.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
• Strong hands-on experience with Yokogawa Centum VP.
• Demonstrated experience with SIS – Triconex.
• Proficiency in PLC systems, particularly Siemens TIA Portal / S7.
• Exposure to Allen Bradley systems is preferred.
• Strong field and site experience is essential.

Work Environment and Location

This is a site-based position within Saudi Arabia, with the majority of projects concentrated in the Northern Region. Candidates must be prepared for travel and work across various project sites throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
