The Opportunity: Document Control Manager

AECOM is seeking a Document Control Manager to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves comprehensive document management and control, with a specific focus on engineering and technical documentation for a rail project. The position requires a professional with over 10 years of experience in document control and includes leadership and team management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement document control procedures, workflows, and standards for the rail project.
  • Manage the receipt, registration, numbering, distribution, tracking, and filing of all project documents.
  • Ensure all project documentation is maintained in accordance with project requirements and document control procedures.
  • Establish and maintain electronic and physical filing systems.
  • Control document revisions, approvals, superseded documents, and archival processes.
  • Manage engineering, design, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover documentation.
  • Coordinate the review and approval workflow for drawings, specifications, technical submittals, and reports.
  • Track document status and ensure timely responses from stakeholders.
  • Maintain master document registers and transmittal logs.
  • Administer the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
  • Manage handover and closeout processes.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in document management and control.
  • Demonstrated experience with EDMS administration.
  • Proven ability to ensure compliance with document control procedures and project requirements.
  • Experience in stakeholder coordination and reporting.
  • Leadership and team management capabilities.
