About the Duty Manager Role at Hilton Riyadh

Hilton is seeking a Duty Manager to oversee hotel operations in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in the hospitality industry. The Duty Manager plays a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the hotel and delivering memorable guest experiences.

Core Responsibilities

The Duty Manager is responsible for the comprehensive management of daily hotel operations in the absence of the General Manager. This includes overseeing front desk activities, staff management, room inventory, guest services, and adherence to hotel policies. A primary focus is placed on guest satisfaction, requiring an approachable and friendly demeanor, prompt responses to inquiries, and efficient resolution of any guest issues.

The role also involves cross-departmental support, stepping in to assist with operational tasks such as bell services or front desk coverage during peak times or breaks. Regular property walkthroughs are conducted to ensure safety, security, and service quality standards are met and maintained. Furthermore, the Duty Manager is tasked with facilitating team knowledge by providing updates and training on hotel offerings, services, and local attractions.

Performance Monitoring and Team Development

A critical aspect of this role involves tracking and improving performance metrics, including guest satisfaction scores from platforms like SALT and Revinate. The Duty Manager will identify trends and implement necessary improvements to enhance the overall guest experience. Additionally, the role includes supervising and supporting team members, monitoring their performance, providing coaching, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
