The Early Childhood Teacher Role

This full-time position is designed for an educator passionate about early years development. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the foundational learning experiences of young students within a diverse international school setting. The role focuses on creating a stimulating and secure environment where children can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver comprehensive, age-appropriate curriculum plans that align with the school's educational philosophy.
• Cultivate a nurturing, inclusive, and dynamic classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and exploration.
• Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Maintain open and regular communication with parents regarding student development and classroom activities.
• Collaborate proactively with teaching assistants, specialist teachers, and other school personnel to support student learning and well-being.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the wider school community.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of direct teaching experience in an early childhood or primary school setting.
• Demonstrated understanding of child development theories and best practices in early years pedagogy.
• Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
