Electrical Inspector ICT/ELV📣 Job Ad

About the Role

WSP is seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector- ICT/ELV to join its Program Management and Construction Management (PMCM) team. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and involves supporting a prestigious project by ensuring the quality and compliance of electrical, ELV (Extra Low Voltage), and ICT infrastructure installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections for electrical, ELV, and ICT works to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Monitor installation and testing activities across various systems.
• Review contractor inspection requests (IRs), material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements.
• Verify the quality of workmanship and ensure adherence to established project quality standards.
• Identify deficiencies, issue non-conformance reports (NCRs), and track corrective actions.
• Witness testing and commissioning activities, maintaining comprehensive inspection records.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure strict compliance with relevant Saudi regulations, international codes, and health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inspection reports detailing progress and findings.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience as an Electrical Inspector with strong expertise in Electrical Systems, ELV, and ICT Infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience working on large-scale infrastructure, mixed-use, commercial, hospitality, or mega projects.
• Prior experience within a PMCM or Consultancy environment is highly preferred.

Technical Systems Oversight

The role requires monitoring installation and testing activities for a broad range of systems, including power distribution, lighting, earthing and lightning protection, structured cabling, data and communication networks, CCTV, access control, Public Address (PA), Audio Visual (AV), Building Management Systems (BMS), and fire alarm and security systems.
