The Role: Site Civil Engineer

alfanar Group is seeking a Site Civil Engineer to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 4-6 years of experience. The role involves leading and developing a team, ensuring effective project execution, and maintaining adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Train subordinates and build an effective team to achieve work objectives.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to team members in all aspects of their work.
• Delegate assignments to subordinates and ensure fair task distribution to maintain morale and motivation.
• Execute planned activities to meet operational and development targets according to delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources efficiently to achieve objectives within specified cost and time parameters.
• Prepare periodic reports detailing deviations and the execution status of planned tasks.
• Resolve operational problems and escalate complex issues as necessary.
• Ensure quality requirements are met by developing effective quality control processes and specifications.
• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities where possible.
• Comply with all relevant policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined work area.

Required Experience

• Candidates should possess 4-6 years of relevant experience in civil engineering roles, preferably within a site-based environment.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a dynamic construction and engineering environment. The role requires active participation in site operations and team leadership.
