About the Role
Alghad College for Applied Medical Sciences, an accredited private educational institution in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is seeking a qualified English Teacher to join its faculty in Riyadh. The college is dedicated to developing national talent within the healthcare sector and offers this full-time position to contribute to its mission of providing high-quality applied medical science education.
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English language instruction to students, fostering strong communication skills essential for their academic and professional development. You will be part of a dynamic academic environment focused on educational excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the implementation of the college's vision and mission.
- Implement educational and training programs in alignment with the study plan and prescribed academic requirements.
- Teach assigned courses according to departmental allocations.
- Conduct practical exercises and lessons as required.
- Manage all aspects of course examinations, including question development, correction, review, and auditing.
- Convey current developments in the field of specialization to students.
- Contribute to the development of college programs and operational procedures.
- Participate in departmental councils, committees, college activities, and scientific research programs.
- Attend department council sessions, engage in discussions, and vote on decisions and recommendations.
- Execute tasks assigned by the department council within established rules and regulations.
- Maintain order and safety in classrooms and laboratories.
- Undertake entrusted work in scientific research, academic advising, or other administrative or academic tasks, in addition to the prescribed teaching load.
- Contribute effectively to conducting scientific research in the specialty.
- Perform required quality assurance tasks and prepare necessary reports for academic courses.
- Foster constructive competition among students and encourage innovation and creativity to achieve excellence.
- Participate in departmental and college committees.
- Prepare periodic reports as required by the college or scientific departments.
- Uphold the reputation of the college and its property, and maintain order and student safety.
- Dedicate oneself to work within the college.
- Comply with all regulations, laws, bylaws, and instructions in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A degree specific to the specialty from Saudi universities or universities recommended by the Ministry of Education (proof of equivalency from the Ministry of Education must be attached).
- For lecturer and faculty positions, there must be an extension of the specialty.
- A minimum grade of "Good" or higher in the bachelor's degree is required.
- All university qualifications must have been obtained on a full-time basis.
- Successful completion of a personal interview is mandatory.
- For applicants with a Master's degree in English, a minimum of two years of experience in education or training is required.
- For applicants with a Bachelor's degree in English language, a CELTA certificate and a minimum of five years of experience in education or training are required.

- Confidence and ability to deliver motivating and interesting lessons.
- Proficiency in developing teaching materials.
- Competence in assessment techniques.
- Ability to reflect on practice and engage in microteaching.

- Capability to teach effectively at the appropriate level.
Work Environment and Application Details
This is a full-time position with a contract duration of one year, requiring 48 working hours per week. The role is based at Alghad College for Applied Medical Sciences in Riyadh, Riyadh Region. Salaries and benefits will be determined upon successful completion of the interview process.
