About the Role

Food Industries Polytechnic (FIP) is seeking a dedicated Part-Time English Teacher to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. FIP, established in 2009, is a non-profit training institution focused on developing specialized and highly skilled Saudi professionals for the food industry. This role involves supporting trainees in enhancing their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.

Role Context

FIP operates under the National Center for Strategic Partnerships, a collaboration between the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) and Almarai, with support from the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF). The institution's training system is designed to equip the labor market with professionals capable of driving innovation and growth in the food industry, aligning programs with evolving industry needs and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, trainee-centered English lessons to diverse learners in a part-time capacity.
  • Plan and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum goals and standards.
  • Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to trainees.
  • Adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and language proficiency levels.
  • Manage classroom expectations and maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, coordinators, and support staff to enhance student outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and participate in regular meetings and professional development.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in teaching.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
  • Teaching certification or credential (as applicable by location).
  • Proficiency in English instruction and classroom management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a part-time, flexible schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience teaching English as a second language or with multilingual learners.
  • Familiarity with digital learning platforms and online teaching tools.
  • Creative and adaptive instructional approach.
  • Experience in assessment design and data-driven instruction.
