Enterprise Architect

About the Role

Ejada is seeking an Enterprise Architect to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for defining, governing, and evolving the organization's enterprise architecture to ensure alignment between business strategy and technology capabilities. The Enterprise Architect provides strategic leadership across various architectural domains, enabling digital transformation, innovation, and operational efficiency.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to provide strategic leadership in enterprise architecture, ensuring technology investments deliver measurable business value. The Enterprise Architect acts as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, focusing on risk mitigation and long-term scalability while supporting the organization's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and govern the enterprise architecture framework, standards, principles, and target-state architecture.
• Develop enterprise technology roadmaps aligned with organizational objectives and digital transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to translate business strategies into technology capabilities and architectural plans.
• Establish and enforce architecture standards, governance processes, reference architectures, and best practices.
• Evaluate, select, and recommend technologies, platforms, and solutions that support business requirements and sustainability.
• Design and oversee business, application, data, integration, security, and infrastructure architectures.
• Ensure seamless integration across enterprise platforms, applications, channels, and technology ecosystems.
• Lead architecture reviews and provide governance oversight for strategic projects and technology initiatives.
• Support modernization initiatives including cloud adoption, API-driven architecture, microservices, and automation.
• Identify architectural risks and define mitigation strategies related to security, compliance, scalability, and operational resilience.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, governance frameworks, and enterprise security policies.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define future-state capabilities and transformation priorities.
• Drive innovation by evaluating emerging technologies and assessing their applicability to business needs.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to solution architects, developers, and engineering teams.
• Continuously assess and optimize enterprise architecture to improve operational efficiency, agility, performance, and cost effectiveness.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 8 years of overall IT experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Technology Strategy, or Architecture Leadership roles.
• Proven experience developing and governing enterprise architecture frameworks and roadmaps.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide modernization and transformation initiatives.
• Banking sector experience is strongly preferred.
