ERP Project Manager

About the Role

Dafater is seeking an ERP Project Manager to lead ERP implementation projects. This full-time role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves managing projects from initiation and planning through delivery, go-live, and transition to Customer Success. The Project Manager will coordinate various stakeholders, including clients, functional consultants, and technical teams, to ensure agreed outcomes are delivered within approved scope, timelines, and budgets.

Project Management Focus

A primary focus of this position is to manage project risks, maintain clear communication channels, and ensure clients are prepared for the effective adoption and use of the delivered ERP solution. The role requires a structured approach to project execution and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and acceptance criteria with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain implementation plans, covering resources, schedules, dependencies, and budgets.
• Coordinate the full ERP delivery lifecycle, including discovery, solution design, configuration, customization, integration, data migration, testing, training, and go-live.
• Monitor progress against agreed plans, identify delivery risks, and manage issues, dependencies, and corrective actions.
• Manage change requests by assessing their impact on scope, cost, resources, and timelines, and obtaining necessary approvals.
• Lead project meetings and provide clear status reports, decision records, and escalation updates to clients and internal leadership.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing, business readiness, cutover planning, and go-live approvals.
• Support client adoption by coordinating training, stakeholder engagement, and operational readiness activities.
• Manage project closure and the handover to Customer Success and support teams, ensuring clear documentation and ownership.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of experience in ERP project management. The position requires a proven ability to manage complex projects and coordinate diverse teams effectively.
