The Role of Exception Handler

This full-time role as an Exception Handler is based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. The position involves managing and resolving issues related to parcel handling and cargo quality within the logistics operations. The Exception Handler will contribute to maintaining efficient cargo flow and improving operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide on-site identification, registration, and handling of abnormal parcels, including those that are damaged, short-delivery, excess, mis-sorted, no-label, or information-inconsistent.
• Follow up on the processing progress of abnormal parcels to ensure timely resolution and closure.
• Regularly inspect the mis-sort rate, damage rate, and loss rate during sorting operations.
• Analyze the causes of cargo quality issues and propose effective improvement measures.
• Identify recurring exceptions, drive process optimization initiatives, and establish standardized exception-handling procedures (SOPs) to reduce future occurrences.
• Provide exception-handling guidance to field operators and supervise the management of major or urgent exceptions to ensure continuous cargo flow.
