The Role

Alcon is seeking a Sr. Associate, Logistics & Freight Management to support transportation, customs compliance, and distribution activities for its Saudi Distribution Center. This full-time position is based in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and requires 2-5 years of relevant experience. The role involves coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, customs clearance, logistics service providers, and distribution operations to ensure timely, compliant, and efficient product delivery across Saudi Arabia. Additionally, the Sr. Associate will support transportation projects across the GEM region, particularly in the Middle East and North Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound transportation activities and monitor shipment execution.
• Manage customs clearance documentation and serve as the primary contact with customs authorities using FASAH/ZATCA.
• Collaborate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and warehouse teams to maintain operational continuity.
• Support NUPCO shipment processes, including ASN bookings and Goods Receipt Management.
• Track deliveries, resolve logistics issues, and manage customer-specific distribution requirements.
• Review freight invoices, validate costs, and address discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with GxP regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and quality standards.
• Identify operational improvement opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in logistics and freight management.
