Role Overview

T&S is seeking an Extended Expertise Consultant - Network Security Consultant for an outsourcing opportunity in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves managing and maintaining network security infrastructure, with a particular focus on Palo Alto firewalls, to ensure secure and compliant network operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and maintain Palo Alto firewalls to ensure secure network operations.
• Perform firewall software and PAN-OS upgrades, including preparation, implementation, and post-upgrade validation.
• Configure and modify firewall security policies, access rules, and related security settings.
• Troubleshoot firewall-related issues, connectivity problems, and security incidents.
• Monitor firewall performance and investigate potential network security risks.
• Support network security enhancements and ensure compliance with applicable security policies and standards.
• Collaborate with network, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams to resolve technical issues.
• Document configurations, changes, troubleshooting activities, and operational procedures.
• Quickly adapt to new technologies, tools, environments, and technical requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
• Practical experience in firewall software upgrades, security policy configuration and changes, and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of network security concepts, TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing requirements.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise network security environments.
• Familiarity with firewall change management and security best practices.
• Experience with network monitoring and security incident investigation.
