The financial analyst position at The Chefz
The financial analyst plays a crucial role in driving strategic and operational decision-making through advanced financial analysis and business modeling expertise. They must have over 10 years of experience, as they will design, implement, and monitor comprehensive financial frameworks that enhance visibility, control, and performance across the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage budgets from scratch, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, forecasting, and rolling re-forecasting.
  • Design, implement, and maintain financial models to support planning and decision-making.
  • Build comprehensive business models to evaluate new capital, divestiture projects, and investment opportunities.
  • Conduct analysis to evaluate financial outcomes and risks.
  • Provide actionable insights to the finance manager and leadership regarding capital allocation, cost efficiency, and growth strategy.
  • Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports with variance analysis and management commentary.
  • Develop dashboards and key performance indicators to track financial and operational performance.
  • Support executive reporting and board reports, including documentation related to investment readiness.
  • Lead ERP optimization (preferably Odoo) to improve reporting accuracy, cost center tracking, and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with IT and operations to automate reporting and enhance data integrity.
  • Ensure compliance of financial operations with international financial reporting standards and relevant regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Over 10 years of advanced experience in financial analysis and project planning and analysis, preferably in diverse or fast-growing sectors.
  • Proven experience in building budgets and financial frameworks from scratch.
  • Strong track record in business modeling, investment analysis, and scenario planning.
  • Solid knowledge of international financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, and financial modeling.
  • Experience with ERP systems, with experience in Odoo ERP being an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Arabic.

  • Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel/Google Sheets; experience with budgeting and forecasting tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • High proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets) for creating professional presentations and reports.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
