Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to support statutory and management reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance. Reporting directly to the Financial Reporting & Compliance Section Head, this role plays a pivotal part in ensuring adherence to Saudi regulations, IFRS, and organizational financial policies while providing insightful analysis to guide business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare timely and accurate financial reports in compliance with IFRS and Saudi accounting regulations.
• Preparation of group reporting packs.
• Ensure audit readiness by maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Support internal and external audits, coordinating with Big Four firms.
• Maintain fixed asset registers, manage physical count and provide comprehensive financial reporting packages.
• Maintain and reconcile accruals and prepayment schedules, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Oversee reporting of borrowings, including interest expense calculations, covenant compliance monitoring, and disclosure requirements under IFRS.
• Collaborate with team members and other functions to complete financial reporting accurately and on time.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making.

Process Improvement & Systems

• Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and reporting.
• Utilize ERP systems and Excel for advanced analysis and reporting.
• Recommend improvements to financial systems and internal controls.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Professional qualification (SOCPA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive finance experience in Saudi Arabia, with strong knowledge of local regulatory requirements.
• Technical Skills: Strong accounting foundation with expertise in IFRS and Saudi regulatory frameworks. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, CANIAS, Oracle, etc.), and advanced Excel.
• Soft Skills: Strategic thinker with keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills. Ability to influence senior stakeholders. Resilient under pressure with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.

General Objective of the Job
Analyze the financial performance of the company and its subsidiaries, contribute to the preparation of annual budgets and monitor their implementation, study financial variances, and provide recommendations to senior management to improve financial efficiency and support strategic decisions.

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare the annual budget for the holding company and follow up on its implementation in coordination with the relevant departments.
• Analyze financial variances and provide explanatory reports and corrective solutions.
• Review the operating budgets of the subsidiaries and analyze their financial efficiency.
• Prepare periodic financial reports for senior management that include overall performance and developmental recommendations.
• Evaluate financial performance indicators and study the impact of initiatives and projects on the general budget.
• Contribute to the preparation of financing plans and study the cash needs of projects.
• Develop financial tools and models that enhance accurate financial planning and analysis.
• Cooperate with external auditors and governmental and financial entities when necessary.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• 3 to 5 years of practical experience in financial analysis or budget preparation and financial planning.
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
• High analytical skills and accuracy in dealing with financial data.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Professional certifications or specialized courses such as: CPA – CMA – CFA – Data Analysis are preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, and understanding of economic and financial indicators.
