Job Description
About the Role
Riyad Bank is seeking a qualified Financial Specialist to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a professional with 5-10 years of relevant experience in the banking sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to all departmental policies, processes, and standard operating procedures to ensure consistent work execution.
- Follow assigned day-to-day operational tasks, ensuring compliance with established standards and procedures.
- Support the preparation and review of finance-related reports, including SAMA and Basel reports, in collaboration with other finance functions to meet regulatory requirements.
- Monitor the Bank’s capital ratios and prudential adherence to SAMA and Board guidelines, identifying and addressing any breaches or deviations promptly.
- Prepare reports on revenues, income, assets, depreciation, and capital expenditures for the Bank’s segments, aligning with local and international standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting processes through system development.
- Collect and compile segment materials to support requests from other Finance functions, executive management, and the Board.
- Assist in the preparation, review, and analysis of the annual operating budget for respective segments.
- Conduct detailed financial analyses, liaising with various functions and performing ad-hoc analyses to support decision-making.
- Extract data from financial databases and accounting records for periodical analysis and accurate financial reporting.
- Support the Bank’s rating agency and investor relations processes.
- Prepare analyses of financial data and performance indicators to determine past performance and project future financial probability, aiding in financial report development.
- Develop financial models for projects or products to assess their feasibility, if required.
- Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and practices, focusing on international best practices, business process enhancement, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.
- Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate reports for Riyad Bank to meet company and department requirements.
- Comply with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls.
- Perform other related duties and assignments as directed.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business with a specialization in Finance or Accounting.
- Professional qualification is preferable.
- A minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience in the banking sector.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
